Program and Curriculum (Accreditation)

At The Growing Patch, we provide an exceptional early childhood curriculum built upon the core values of family and growth, employing effective methodologies.

One of our primary approaches is the belief that children learn most effectively through hands-on experiences. This method is extensively utilized to stimulate growth, as we recognize that consistency and structure enhance a child's learning potential.

Each day at our center is brimming with enjoyable and age-appropriate activities that ignite excitement and facilitate the development of toddlers. These activities comfort and nurture self-esteem and confidence, fostering cognitive and social growth. We aim to instill a genuine love for learning in each child.

Seedlings to Sprouts (6 Weeks to 18 Months)

Class Ratio 1:4

Our infant area provides the highest quality care in an environment that is designed with the parent and child in mind. While in our care, the children are stimulated through music, exercise, outdoor nature walk time, facial and verbal mimicking, and lots of hugs and tickles.

In our dedicated infant area, we prioritize providing exceptional care in a thoughtfully designed environment that considers the needs of both parent and child. Our teachers focus on providing a language-rich environment in which babies and toddlers are surrounded by talking, singing, and reading and have many opportunities throughout their day, across all activities, to communicate with others and engage in back-and forth interactions.

During this stage, children embrace new challenges at an astonishing pace. Crawling, walking, and soon running become milestones they achieve seemingly overnight. To facilitate optimal learning, it is essential for children to be immersed in a stimulating environment. Our daily routine incorporates music, storytelling, outdoor play, and simple learning activities. Our caregivers are committed to fostering each child's development through a nurturing and affectionate bond. To keep families informed, we provide a comprehensive daily report detailing meal times, nap times, diaper changes, and all the activities accomplished throughout the day.

Sprouts & Buds (18 Months to 35 Months)

Class Ratio 1:6

Toddlers on the cusp of preschool eagerly learn to follow two- or three-step directions, categorize objects by shape and color, imitate the behaviors of adults and peers, and express a wide range of emotions. Our carefully planned and scaffolded daily learning activities strike a balance that encourages meaningful participation and initiation. Additionally, our teachers actively support the children in developing self-regulation skills, including potty training.

At this age, children are meeting new challenges as fast as they come. Skipping, walking, and eventually running are levels they accomplish in what seems like a blink of an eye. Children learn best if they are in a stimulating environment. Music, stories, outdoor play, and learning simplicities envelop much of the day. Our caregivers are dedicated to helping each child develop these skills through a trusting and loving relationship. A parental daily report is given to update each family on meal times, nap times, diaper changes, and all activities accomplished each day.

Preschool and Pre-K Programs Class Ratio 1:10

During this pivotal stage; children undergo significant cognitive, social, and emotional changes that enable them to explore and comprehend their expanding world.

Our preschool and Pre-K programs feature integrated curriculums that offer age-appropriate learning opportunities, fostering confidence and cultivating a lifelong love for learning. Recognizing the significance of the early years in a child's positive growth and development, we strive to create an environment where they can acquire new skills, embrace challenges, and receive encouragement based on their unique strengths and abilities.

We ensure each child receives the necessary creative learning experiences to support physical, intellectual, and social development. Our carefully designed activities, games, and curriculum are all tailored to ignite your child's natural curiosity and lay a solid foundation for lifelong success—our curriculum centers around preparing your child to excel in all aspects of life. To keep families involved in their children's foundational learning journey, we provide a detailed daily report encompassing meal times, nap times, toilet training progress, and all the activities accomplished throughout the day. This open communication fosters a collaborative partnership between our center and families.
