WE FOSTER EDUCATION

We understand the importance of education at every level, so much so that we have created an atmosphere of learning with 1-on-1 support for each student.

WE PURSUE EXCELLENCE

We not only provide it, we demand it. The standard is simple – provide quality child care at an affordable price. We promise to never compromise this principle.

“Our mission is simple; we provide quality childcare for not just one specific family or child, but instead for all.”
– Domonica Glenn, Founder

WE CULTIVATE GROWTH

Development is truly the only measurement of growth in any child. With that in mind we ensure growth is evident in a matter of three weeks.

WE CREATE FUN

Thriving in the right environment is essential for any child. We believe creativity along with imagination are vital to proper development and growth.

WHAT WE ARE ABOUT

Here at The Growing Patch, we believe in nurturing children in ways that promote continuous growth. We place great value in family and highly esteem your trust in us to provide quality childcare for your young ones in a safe, fun and educational environment.

The importance of strong academic teaching and proper social exposure is an understatement in today’s forever-changing world.

The two fundamental principles of growth and family are more than pillars of our business. They additionally serve as a reminder of our vow to you, in providing unique, affordable and quality childcare.

Our mission is simple; we provide quality childcare for not just one specific family or child, but instead for all. Plant a seed with us, we promise the harvest will surpass your expectations.

CURRICULUM

The Growing Patch offers a unique early childhood curriculum based on the belief of family and growth through effective methods.

The philosophy that children learn best through hands-on experiences is one our most utilized methods to stimulate growth. We also know when there is consistency and structure, a child’s learning potential is heightened.

Each day is filled with fun, age-appropriate activities that excite and help toddlers develop. They provide comfort, self-esteem, and confidence to grow and develop both cognitively and socially. We want each child to develop a love of learning.

The function of a leaf is vital to the stability of a flower. The leaf provides protection and is a source of nutrients much like the early years of a child’s development. With fundamental teaching and progressive growth during this time in your child’s life – success as a bud is just a season away!

HIGHLIGHTS FROM OUR LEAVES CURRICULUM:

• Foster opportunities for self-directed play, expressions of creativity and environment exploration
• Challenge students to develop problem solving skills through insight and thinking exercises
• Develop students’ ability to tell short stories using grammatical markers

The bud is the first sign of a flower; it is underdeveloped, yet on the cusp of emergence. During the time of pollination, watering and sun exposure play a vital role in strengthening the bud’s chances of transitioning to a full-bloomed flower. We are in the business of helping equip our buds to be well-developed flowers!

HIGHLIGHTS FROM OUR BUDS CURRICULUM:

• Encourage friendship building with other children through group play time
• Help children problem solve and develop good language skills by speaking to them in complete sentences and using child appropriate words
• Encourage responsibility by letting children practice good habits with requiring participation in “clean-up” time (putting away books, toys and art supplies used)

AGE: 4 - 6 years old

Flowers are representations of the hard work of tending, nurturing and a variety of resources. • Guide children in developing positive decision making
